Dr. Wayne Sutton and Dear Doctor Magazine Provide Rohnert Park Resident With A Smile Makeover

Restoring beautiful smiles is something that Dr. Wayne Sutton and his staff are accustomed to doing every day. So when Dear Doctor magazine contacted Dr. Sutton about playing a critical role in the transformation for the winner of their first Dear Doctor's Ultimate Dental Health Makeover Contest, it was an opportunity he simply could not resist. “It gave me and my staff the ability to restore a beautiful natural smile and optimal oral health to fellow member of our community at no charge. A dramatic change that would forever change the winner's life.”

When winner, Brian R., arrived at Dr. Sutton's office, he new he was in a special place. According to Brian, “Dr Sutton is an honest, genuine, friendly dentist who cares deeply about his patients. He is also on the cutting edge of technology and very comfortable using it. He has a knack for explaining what is involved in a procedure, and what to expect. His honesty was especially helpful when he suggested that I consider sedation dentistry, as some of the treatments planned would take a long time. He explained that I would be less anxious and more comfortable. And he was right! It was very relaxing yet I was awake and aware of what was happening. I couldn't believe the difference from previous dental treatments without sedation. With sedation, I was calm and comfortable the entire time.”

Brian is also thankful for Dr. Sutton's expertise in helping him select the perfect veneers — a tough decision for some patients. “My natural front teeth really weren't in that bad of shape. I mean, I did have a few small chips from old sports injuries, and of course they weren't white like they are now, but I knew I did not want a George Hamilton, perfect Hollywood smile.” For this reason, Dr. Sutton helped design very natural looking veneers that would beautifully restore his smile, correct any minor misalignments, and give his face a rested, more youthful appearance. “I cannot thank Dr. Sutton enough.
